Karton are right up there on our list of top breakthrough breaks producers for 2009. The pair recently rocked our world with
thisisbreaks.com single of the week Spacetrip82 on Sound of Habib, an envigorating blast of poppy vocal breaks that, like an ex-lover of Kylie Minogue's, you just can't get out of your head. We've also been given an early preview of an upcoming Karton remix on Dead Famous, and believe us, they've really smashed it out of the ground on that one.
And so it is with great pleasure that we bring you a free track from the boys. Titled Phoenix, it may well appear on their forthcoming album on Sound of Habib. It's a mesmeric piano-led vocal number with Karton's trademark tight melodies and warm bass that ought to fit well into more adventurous sets, though this one might be more of a home listening affair.
