Breakz R Boss Records Remix Competition

Breakz R Boss records + Breakbeat.ca are excited to be hosting their 1st Remix competition. We are expecting a heavy flow of entries so everyone must really step up on this one. Top 20 remixes will be picked and put on display for our judges and crew to see. We will use the Favorite and Comment stats on soundcloud to help us with our votes. Cuts will be made down from 20 to top 5 in the last month of voting.

- All Bass Music Genres are excepted in this remix competition form all ages and experience.
- Your final project must be submitted in 320kbps mp3 by soundcloud (or download quicklink via email.)
- All samples in this remix pack are copywriten and are not to be used outside this remix competition.
- Please note: Soundcloud favorite Counts and Comment Counts will be taken into consideration. Tell your friends.
- Deadline: July 1st - Oct 1st 2011

Since the early days of his youth Somsay has always loved music and art growing up in the 80's in Calgary then later moving to Montreal to complete his teenage years in one of Canada's most beautiful electronic cities. A fan of the Hiphop and electronic music production at an early age of 16, he sought to make his own songs technically for years. A relatively new electronic music producer with only a few remixes under his belt, to date. 2011 has just started to rollout a string of his original music with numerous vocalists from Montreal to appear on his tracks. Government Lies by Somsay and Rick Rags release was his first original track out on beatport and trackitdown.net hit the top 100 Breaks Charts. Without a doubt Somsay loves the Canadian scene and is devoted to it, as he is the founder of Google top Breakbeat webzine, "Breakbeat.ca". Expect to hear his slick musical arrangements, big nasty basslines, unique Canadian vocalists, glitchy fx, with an array of various bouncing beats like breaks, dubstep, electro house, and Nu Disco.
