I'm head over heels, hopelessly and forever in love with music. I love listening to music, but more than anything i love making it. I'm very critical of my own music and usually don't like much of what i create, but i'm not a self loathing, or "tortured" artist, i'm just a perfectionist.

Sound experimentation takes up a lot of my time in the studio. I love to destroy and rebuild any audio i can get my hands on, even if it ends up being nothing more than a blip. For me it's part of the foundation that new musical ideas are built on. Listen to noise and all you hear is exactly that, but disassemble it, filter it and reduce parts of it and a completely new sound is born out of it. Truth be told, if i didn't spent so much time experimenting with sounds i'd probably write a whole lot more music, but i believe in quality over quantity.

Although Stefan is known for his melodic and atmospheric sound design (especially in his earlier releases), this mix shows another side of Stefan's music - a nice progressive remixes which are good both for home listening and for a party. The mix starts with the remix of "Boxing The Stars", quite heavy drum pattern with languishing vocals and weird sound textures just almost without bass line - what a nice solution for the intro. It flows then in the remix of "Street Knowledge" performed by Kultur. Damn, its middle is epic!!! The mix continues with two relatively new Stefan's remixes which sound really nice even without some special tricks, amplifying the driving atmoshere of the whole mix. The second one ends with a nice 303ish melody pattern and John Graham on vocals. Yes baby, it is the remix of Hybrid's "Until Tomorrow"! The masterpiece without any doubts and best way to end a great evening!
