Menu's main man with the biggest sample bank in the business is getting ready to put his funk gloves on again and slap the sh*t out of you with
"Knuckle Sandwich"
Hard to define, "Knuckle Sandwich" can only be described as awesome. Pulling in everything AND the kitchen sink as far as samples go, then add a heavy bassline, a few off key synths, and edits that would make "Switch" proud, Rico has managed to make a hybrid that will appeal as much to the breaks heads as it will to fans of speaker junk and Sinden.
And this is just the start of it. Menu has now managed to lock Mr. Tubbs down to a full length album, to be released next year that will be full of these kinds of treats.
Not content with blurring the genre lines on the A side, Menu are proud to also present you with the
Baobinga & ID remix. This remix had to be a collaboration effort, as during the sessions, both lads had to take turns peddling the girls mountain bike that they hooked up to a mains generator, while the other one worked on the track. But we are pleased they did, as you can really hear both their sounds merged into one and given a kind of "mass appeal" you would only get from the underground. Big builds, big synth lines, big bassline, big time, late night crowd rocker.
Both Mr. Cunning and Mr. Hooligan have been peeing in their "Primark 3 for £5" pants to get these gems on the shelves. So finally, here they are....... ENJOY!
