DJ Hazard needs no introduction – king of the dancefloor, tracks like "Busted" and "Mr Happy" cemented his reputation
as one of the heaviest producers in the drum & bass game, and now he’s back to drop an immense EP for DJ Hype & Pascal’s Playaz imprint.
The "Platinum Shadow" EP takes no prisoners right from the off as "Psychedelic" opens your mind to a world of
aural colours and scattered fractal beats. Distinctive DJ Hazard flavours run riot with your senses as those trademark bass bubbles drift
into your consciousness. The title track doesn’t let up either – a short DJ intro leads the way before
the drop gives way to an awesome slab of sub-bass and screeching sound effects akin to running a synth through a Hammer Horror FX pedal!
"Against The Clock" bleeps and whirls into view with a pounding kick and Pacman style noises before oh, my, gosh – the bassline is huge!
Coming with a retro ‘90s flex, DJ Hazard reminds you what classic dancefloor D&B was all about. Rounding off this huge EP is "All I Can Say" a grinding,
womping, stomper of a tune complete with super-heavy bass, stepping beats and a cheeky vocal snippet.
