Dylan Rhymes, aka Marvin Beaver, set up a commercial studio with his mate Justin Drake in the early 1990s.
Their studio became the birthplace of Outsiders for Junior BoyтАЩs OwnтАЩs Chicago influenced Jus Trax label.
Clive Henry then joined the team and the trio became Peace Division, a project that gained props from every corner
of dance music.
Leaving Peace Division to focus on his own material, Beaver invented the Dylan Rhymes moniker (a reference to Bob Dylan)
and set about working on a breakbeat track for Junior Boys Own. The result was 1996s "Naked & Ashamed" which became
one the labelтАЩs biggest tracks.
Since then he has cemented his reputation as one of the leaders of the breakbeat and tech house scenes and is now joined by writer,
programmer and producer extraordinaire, Anthony Gorry, for his Dylan Rhymes album project.
Having been around for so long and had his name on countless record sleeves, it's hard to believe that the upcoming release "Dead Famous"
on Kingsize is the debut album for one of dance music's most well-known house, breaks and electro producers. It's highly likely that several
of the tracks will find their way onto compilations; further enhancing his reputation as a pop/dance crossover genius.
