StepStyle n Storm makin their music in Traktor Studio?? Whole mix???

Traktor 3 is very good for mixin, but when you haven´t mixing desk it´s quite impossible Please tell me what for a equipment or what for a audio devices are you using?? ´cause sometimes I make somethin in Traktor, but I thought it´s only good to learn "how the beat flows" n than come over to vinyls Oh man your answer gave me an energy to sit down at my comp n make whole mix only in this studio, but must say that breakbeat is little harder to make, to catch a cue ´cause it´s not so good visible like a straight beat, so when you got no tapping in your headphones (no mixing desk) it´s very hard to catch it in real time

по сабжу - оба микса по-своему хороши, говорить, что лучше, что хуже нельзя , это как ламбарджини и феррари - каждому что-то нравится своё, уже писали, что у Спектера микс выдержан в одном стиле - это гуд, у Вируса разные стили,но треки жгучие, парочку вообще не слышал - очень зацепили, частеньку слушаю оба микса ..

Ну, первоначально этот проект был направлен как раз на определение вкусов и предпочтений наших форумчан. Ну а по большому счёту никто же не обязан отдавать голос. Можно просто слушать миксы и наслаждаться музыкой. В ББЗ Битвах ДЖедаи прилагают много стараний для того, чтобы их работы понравились слушателям (по себе знаю), поэтому результат всегда получается интересным.

I using ASUS Notebook A6Km + M-Audio Audiophile Firewire Soundcard 4x6 + Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs headphones + (now i waitin' my M-Audio X-Session DJ Controller). 80% mixes was written via Traktor DJ Studio with hotkeys on the notebook keyboard.

Man it´s very big surprise for me it could be done this way I´m using notebook IBM T43p with soundmax integrated audio , but like I said this soundcard has very limited capability - I mean I don´t know how to use tapping - how to connect headphones n how to get two ouput lines - I think the best way is to purchase some better sound card Hmmm but my friend mixin techno by Traktor n has some very good mixes - but there it is - you can see clearly beats flowin, but the broken beats aren´t much visible... so like I said - the main thing is to be able monitoring the sound before I cross it to output U´re right - you must use keyboard hotkeys, other way its´presets are very very slow when you controll it only by mouse. N what for version of Traktor do you have?? Now I´m tryin the 3rd version (I think this is the newest) n there I got little problems with keyb shortcuts - doesn´t work like in the 2nd edition of studio Maybe only I don´t know how does it work in this version...

I'm using v3.2. Traktor developers (Native Instruments) created this Virtual DJ Studio much better than previous versions.

About sound card: get a better than you have now. My sound card cost $245 but it have more quality sound and options than integrated cards.

Hmmm right, I´m not sure but when I got only normall one ouput there´s no way to build some more...I´ve heard that with specific soft you can emule your input (eg for mic) like a second independent output don´t you know somethin about this?? So like you wrote the keyb schortcuts must be the same like in Traktor 2.0 - I´ll figure it out I got the same version like you so now I gonna to make whole mix n will see... but if you know somethin about that soft like I wrote before please let me know.. It´s clear that with my integrated card I will not make as the quality sound as like from other pro cards, but only for now to enjoy mixin...

I don't know about this software.

About outputs: you can record mix with your card, but you will be hear next track in your monitors with alredy playing track. When your mix will be recorded - all be fine. I work with this system when i used desktop PC with 2x2 PCI audio card (Echo Mia Midi).

Yeaah maybe this one could work thx for advice Today I´ll try it n let you know I didn´t use monitor cause I thought it´s made for mixing deck... So thx again for your advice
