Pollard (Subphonic) is simply a master-bass-headcase. The man
concocts bass sounds that are unhuman and frankly, a bit scary. He
has soundtracked TV movies as well as produced drum & bass
on the label S.O.U.R. He once recorded under the name Hybrid AD for
PuSH, but had to undergo a name change to please the more well-known
"Hybrid" He has released a full length album on TCR named
for an older track: Vega Beach Party. It includes a remix of
the title tune by Dave Tipper as well as "No Edge"
which is a collaborative effort between he and ILS. The other tracks
on the album include "Step Dragon", "Brain Barrel",
"Buzzed", "Rogue Electric", "Friendly Fire",
as well as the original version of the title track.
Last year, there were rumours of Neil'sl return. The word was that
he and Vlad (Breakneck) were working on a tune for TCR. Upon questioning,
Neil denied any plans to release this tune or even that it was %100
complete. One can only wait...
